This is how Tim announced firing me. I love that Tim said that he wishes me the very best for my future endeavors. I didn’t realize wishing someone the best included making up lies and sending a demand letter threatening to sue for a “Prospective Breach” (is this even a thing?) of my noncompete, threatening to sue for extortion, as well as filing for an injunction. They also sent a demand letter to the place they believed I was going to work, threatening to sue for tortious interference with my noncompete — as if my future place of employment really had to put an effort into making me want to work there. lol.
